Day 01: Arrive Hanoi.
Arrive at Noi Bai airport. Transfer to hotel. Water puppet show in the evening. Night in Old Quarter of Hanoi.

Day 02: Hanoi - city tour.
Visit museums, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples and pagodas in Hanoi for the whole day with lunch in a West Lake restaurant.

Day 03: Hanoi - Nghia Lo.
Head for Nghia Lo on country road through myriads of paddy fields.

Day 04: Nghia Lo - Sapa.
Travel on the Hoang Lien Range, of which Fansipan (Phan Xi Pan) is the top of Vietnam and the whole Indochina. Sapa is touristy but worth spending a night.

Day 05: Sapa - Bac Ha.
Bac Ha is another Sapa dating back at least 10 years. Meet about 10 different groups at week-end markets. Can Cau is on Saturday and Bac Ha on Sunday.
Trek to a Flower H'mong village of Ban Pho to see how the Woman Union create jobs and maintain tradition and customs for their members.Night in a hotel.

Day 06: Bac Ha - Thac Ba.
Easy ride down to Thac Ba Lake, one of the biggest reservoirs in Northern Vietnam. Boating, fishing before landing at a Dao village in the afternoon. Night in a fiesta family.

Day 07: Thac Ba - Bac Giang.
Travel in Red River Delta through Thai Nguyen to be in Bac Giang for the night.

Day 08: Bac Giang - Halong Bay.
Halong Bay is an ideal place for classic tour, with beautiful landscape and retreat. Too much information about it, needless to say.

Day 09: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi, train to Hue.
Cruise in the Bay for 5-6 hours before driving back to Hanoi. Prepare for train to Hue in the evening.

Day 10: Hue - old capital of Vietnam.
Hue is another favourit place for classic tour. People are calm, things are ancient and a really peaceful place. Boating on Perfume River and sight seeing are main activities.

Day 11: Hue - Danang - Hoian.
Hoi An is Vietnam's first commercial port. Old houses, nice beach and a shopping paradise are what you expect in this little town. There are even more tourists than the inhabitants.

Day 12: Hoi An - city walking.
Hoian alias Faifo is worth another day. Shopping the whole day seems not even enough. In addition, boating to a ceramic and wood carving villages fills the day.

Day 13: Hoian - Danang - Saigon.
Transfer to Danang. Time for Cham museum and Ngu Hanh Son before leaving for Saigon.

Day 14: Saigon - city tour.
Busy town with over 7 million people. Another Bangkok in a few years time. War museums, pagodas and night life are main attractions.

Day 15: Saigon - Mekong - boating.
Water life in Mekong Delta, fruit gardens are as famous as Halong Bay. A very busy day.

Day 16: Mekong - Saigon.
More boating and floating markets before driving back to Saigon.

Day 17: Saigon - departure.
Shopping, Transfer to airport. "Chao tam biet" and "Hen gap lai".
